ITINERARY:

  • Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech

    • Arrive in Marrakech and check into your hotel or riad. Spend the day exploring the vibrant city, including the bustling Djemaa el-Fna square, the historic medina, and the colorful souks. Overnight stay in Marrakech.

  • Day 2: Marrakech to Zagora

    • Depart from Marrakech towards the Zagora desert. Enjoy the scenic drive through the High Atlas Mountains, passing through traditional Berber villages and lush oases. Arrive in Zagora and take a camel ride into the desert to reach your desert camp. Experience a traditional Berber dinner and spend the night under the stars in the Sahara.

  • Day 3: Zagora to Merzouga

    • After breakfast, continue your journey towards Merzouga. Along the way, stop at various attractions, including Draa Valley and Rissani. Arrive in Merzouga and check into your accommodation. Enjoy a camel trek into the dunes to watch the sunset. Experience another night in the desert camp.

  • Day 4: Merzouga Desert Exploration

    • Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes and capture some unforgettable photos. After breakfast, explore the surrounding desert on foot or by camel, visiting nearby oases and nomadic settlements. Return to Merzouga for lunch and some relaxation time. In the afternoon, you have the option to take a 4x4 excursion to explore the desert further, including a visit to nearby villages and an ancient fossil site. Return to your accommodation in Merzouga for dinner and another night in the desert camp.

  • Day 5: Merzouga to Ouarzazate

    • After breakfast, depart from Merzouga and head towards Ouarzazate. Along the way, visit the Todra Gorges and the Dades Valley, known for their stunning landscapes. Arrive in Ouarzazate and visit the famous film studios. Overnight stay in Ouarzazate.

  • Day 6: Ouarzazate to Marrakech

    • Depart from Ouarzazate and travel back to Marrakech. En route, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou for a guided tour. Continue the journey through the Atlas Mountains and arrive back in Marrakech in the evening. Spend your last evening in Marrakech exploring the city or relaxing before your departure.
